I got another Soldier Medal as a drop but I don't have 2 - Games

WTF? I got the Soldier medal as a drop, but I don't have 2 to select from when I go to the misc slot.

It's just to make it appear in your backpack (lastest update fix).

Aww, you get them from random drops. I was hoping that the people that got them from valve's event would be the only ones. Now I don't have anything to be elitist about.

Yeah, it's just from the backpack fix. Mine wasn't showing up either until I died once and then it showed up as a drop.

Strange. I got my medal the first time I went in my backpack. I didn't have to enter a game to get it.

You can only get the Gentle Manne's medal from the givaway, you can still be elitist, and people who didnt get one should cover up their butthurt. :smug:

The medal kinda sucks though because no one can ever see it unless you taunt or something because the soldier's arm is in the way

Medal should be replaced with a massive bling medallion

Personally I think this whole medal giveway was to get more people to play Soldier.

The medal giveaway is to add limited items so people have a reason to use the trading system.

With all these hats and future weapons, they really need to add more backpack space...

The medal should be covered in blinding HDR.

27 hats + 27 weapons (at the end of the update) + 1 medal makes more than 50 slots. LOOKS LIKE I'M GOING TO HAVE TO DO AWAY WITH MY SPARE HATS AND RAZORBACK.

Quick math: 6 classes updated so far + 27 hats + 1 medal = 46 items that exist in the game SO FAR. 3 new items for the soldier update I'd assume. Valve has more than 2 months to worry about backpack space.

A simple page by page system would be a quick fix, though.
