Tf2 3dsMax CAT Rigs to Tf2 animation ingame-some help needed

Hello everyone I've been trying to look for a solution for an animation I made involving the spy, i animated the "Im so fresh you can suck my nuts" dance using the CAT Rig for spy made by MaxofS2D. Anyway my animation is perfected .qc and all other files are ready to be compiled, I compiled the animation using Guistudiomdl, all goes fine except for sometging that says
"bad command $define bone" or something along those lines. I understand what the error is though, the number of bones in the define bones for spy doesnt match the bones in maxofs2ds rig. Ive played with the layer manager to see what kind of setup would get the two to match but i keep getting the define bone error in the compiler does anyone have a fix for my issue? I will upload pics later today
I had this issue before, with two different $define commands. Deleting the sourcesdk folder temporarily fixed this for me, but your mileage may vary.

Will you release it here when it's fixed, or will maxofS2D do it?
I think it may be a bit more than that. I tryed to open it up in source sdk but no luck but i will try ur method

are you sure you're using the orangebox compiler and not the source2007 / ep1 one

Get a student account. You don't even have to be at a listed school to use it, there's a homeschooled option that doesn't need verification if I remember correctly

You on the other hand have had several problems with people specifically minifett and coverop, so now obviously you had to do SOMETHING to piss me off, i dont throw hissyfits over nothing unlike certain people. Be patient seriously or youll have more peoblems. As for your solution it didnt work i now know about those bone layers but render just them isnt doing it also i know im not entitled to your help, you can simply say "no" and id gladly piss off. Do the "How to" part of the page with the model you're having problems with. You will create a file with all the bones defined.

You will create a file with all the bones defined.[/QUOTE]i tweaked around a bit and I got it into Source SDK!! :D now i face one more issue, the animation starts him in a T-pose, normal yes but once he starts animating his body shfits into the floor at about 90 degrees i remember reading something about this i dont know where

Add $upaxis Z of $upaxis Y or $upaxis X in the animation .qc
Before the animation is defined.

Note that there's strictly no reason for Valve's stock definebones to be not working. I'm guessing you decompiled the models instead of using the official sources...

Comparing to my week salary It will be.... hmmmm within' 2 months?
One last little thing, I fixed all issues 1 remains, using the spy.txt file to replace the taunt kill, Ive followed this thread;s instructions with no luck
