Whats the stupidist thing you've done with the console? - Games

Title. Mines when I saw a command called 'connect ' so I wrote Connect palm of hand with face and ended up crashing my server. With a server critic playing. I raged.

I typed la then I typed 9 Thriller really got fucked up in the conversion [editline]08:28AM[/editline] Also, remember when GMod (and, for like 3 seconds, TF2) had that console command that crashed the server due to Valve being dumb? Well I found it by accident and typed it in to see what it would do.

There are critics for servers?

I wouldn't really call it stupid, but I always like to check if a server has sv_cheats on. If so, I give the server admin a friendly reminder to turn it off (ent_fire player ignite, impulse 203, kill *playernamehere*)

Actually it's probably a good thing they went to your server and rated it bad. Because then anyone dumb enough to follow the critic's advice wouldn't be shitting up your server with their pompousity.

noclip when we were playing TF2 balloon race, I was still in noclip when the admin disabled it :D

Uhm, if there are critics, shouldn't there also be some reviews? Don't think I've ever seen any reviews for any server, only personal opinions. Sounds more like a reason to be a stuck-up prick if you ask me. Anyway, I'm careful with the console, and don't use it more then I need to, so I haven't really done anything horrific.

What makes someone a server critic? Just because they say so or is it related to VALVe? If it's not related to VALVe then we should just give them the finger and continue making servers the way we want them.

One server had sv_Cheats 1 on, no one didn't even know it, so I made myself as a prop and was hiding somewhere and killing people with point_hurt, and when I was bored I banned everyone with console.

physics_select while messing around with commands. Permabanned.

ent fire remove crashes the server if used on a player

My worst one had to be when I found a server that sv_cheats 1. I merely used "noclip" instead of completely controlling the server. How did you set yourself as a prop?

Typed "+left; +attack" as a pyro and started running around 2fort, still slightly capable of seeing where i'm going. It's like a whole new thrill to W+M1.
