Hello, I was wondering if someone could help me with a minor problem in Team Fortress 2, When I am in game I can't look up or down using any gamepad :S. Does someone has any solutions? (User was banned for this post ("Use the tech support forum next time" - Craptasket))
How do you play with controllers anyway?
Did you plug it in?
Cause I am use to it, cause I don't use a keyboard and a mouse to play in a ps3 so I bought a gamepad it works fine in any game except tf2 cause I can't look up or down.
if you want actual help, you should probably post what kind of gamepad it is.
It's a logitech F310
This could be a problem with your gamepad, but honestly I'd recommend just trying to get used to the Keyboard/Mouse controls. It may be awkward at first but it's overall more precise and natural once you get the hang of it. If you play with dual analog sticks you're basically using a self-imposed handicap.
Ah well I tried then.
Ah well I tried then.
Trust me, it gets way more comfortable as time goes on. I used to play a few Xbox/Ps3 shooters but the controls bug the hell out of me now. You'll get the hang of it.
You may also be thinking "Why the hell is it WASD and not arrow keys.." but i thought that at the start of PC gaming too, but now, i think it's wonderful, it feels comfy and everything, give it 2-3 weeks and you will have gotten the hang of it.
I don't understand why anyone would want to play PC games with a controller. I'd rather like to be able to play console games with a mouse and keyboard, but that's totally out of the question.

Arrows keys are just plain useless in games I swear.
I tried TF2 with a controller recently. It was awful. But if you REALLY want to, you have to go into the console and type this command exec360controller
Thanks everyone :D
