I have this porblem for quite some time. I can't see the Buffpack. I mean, I can see it on myself when taunting and on ragdolls, but for some reason not on other players. And yes, I'm sure they have it equipped, because while Spectating it says "... is using: The Buff Banner". I also see the flags floating behind them when they blow the horn to attack, but I can't see the Buffpack itself. Anyone has a solution on what to do? I heard it might be Server related, but I play on many different servers, and it happens on all of them.
Delete any custom models you might have had for it.
Never had any for it.

Just checked my models folder and my materials folder just to be sure. Nothin'.
Rename your TF2 folder to something different, like TFOLD and then run TF2.

Uhm, what happens to my current custom skins? Oh, before I forget, I just reinstalled TF2, because I got a new OS. Problem was before reinstalling and remained.

I'm stumped, dunno chief.
Maybe I should extract the Buff Banner models from my gcf and put them in my models folder and see if it works? :v:
If it is actually a problem with a custom model you have, my above solution will tell us this.
Try that before anything else.
Your custom skins will be in your TFOLD folder, or whatever you renamed it. Just rename TFOLD back to the team fortress 2 when done and it'll all be saved.
I have custom models, but not for The Buff Banner.
Still try it. You never know what might have been altered without your knowledge or what conflicts with what.
