Daimao told me he doesn't want to submit them.
I was expecting to recognize all of the hats that were submitted, but I only recognized Ayesdyef's Samurai helmet.
On Topic: I never was too crazy about the welding mask, but Daimao's is way batter than the official one.
why not just make a replacement mod?
The TF2 team wants you to [i]see[/i] that facial animation.

Seeing as Valve only just made that possible with this update, no. Animation overrides have never existed before this moment (for items)

This. His look really better than the current one. If Valve are bitching that they are gonna looks all their face animations, edit the model. They can easily just flip it up so it doesn't cover his face
