There's hardly a difference, and if anything it looks worse, in my opinion.

I like the beta lightwarps. They add a cinematic feel.

I only see difference on the heavy his graphics are a bit darker and the beta graphics had a nicer feeling

Yeah, it's more... Imposed. Cel shaded. I don't know. If someone made a lightwarp for the first post picture, I'd like that. But thats for a different thread. And I've got the next best thing.
