I got my second pain train, so I tried to make it into some scrap metal with some demoman weapons I had lying around. That didn't work, so I tried it with soldier weapons. Still nothing.
Valve really needs to fix this for The Pain Train and The Gunboats.
If anyone has 3 Pain Trains would you kindly try and craft them, to make sure that we can at least do that for the time being.

You could ALWAYS craft 3 of them.
You just can't craft them with other Soldier weapons.
I think you can't craft it because it's a weapon that goes for more than one class. Like how all the event hats can't be crafted. And for the Gunboats.... DEMOMAN WILL GET THEM?
