A few minutes ago, on the TF2 blog, there was an update. It was titled "Use More Gun" and I simply skimmed it- it was a bunch of vague pontification about proposed engineer unlocks.
Anyone else see this before it dissappeared?

There are none- I closed the tab shortly after, then checked again a few minutes later for unrelated reasons.

Never heard of tabs? I'm really not buying this, but I will keep my fingers crossed and keep alt tabbing out of GTA4 every now and then to check for more news.
If it were there I should have gotten an email that their rss feed was updated and gotten a text because I got an email about said rss feed updating. Neither of these happened so I seem to doubt the validity of an update. :science:

I can say for sure that it existed, I participated in the debate for the idea.
It was called the Morgan, and it was basically a shotgun that deployed into a weak little ninja sentry to provide covering fire. I don't have any of the numbers, but it was pretty well worked out and there was even a model almost completed.
I would take this as either a sign that it got modded for being ridiculously long, or Valve picked up the idea... or Valve is trolling us again by making us think they picked up the idea.

I remember the Morgan. It always seemed like a neat idea. It would be great if they implemented it... I'd be especially interested, as combat Engineer is one of my favorite ways to play.
Mid-post edit: I just read the topic. Wow, I don't remember the idea being so fleshed-out.
I actually doubt that Valve [b]WON'T[/b] implement Morgan, it's that fucking awesome.
I really like this idea. I don't really use the shotgun anyway. I just quickswap between pistol and wrench.
