• Installing skins on OSX Lion?

Ever since I got a system upgrade for my mac, I can't figure out how to install new maps and skins and whatever. The layout's different enough that the library folder is not physically visible to me. For the life of me, I can't figure this out, and I'm starting to believe that it's impossible to do at this given time. I have searched every end of any place that would know about TF2, and I can't find any info regarding this issue. Can anybody help clarify this for me before I tear my hair out in bloody clumps?
~/Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/{steam_user}/team fortress 2/tf [editline]edit[/editline] Woops, I missed the part about not being able to see the library folder.
Yeah, unfortunately the Lion update has hidden the Library folder, making it harder to find. Just hoping somebody could help me on this. Thanks, though.
I don't have Lion, but perhaps this might help: http://www.brandonmartinez.com/2011/07/23/unhide-library-folder-in-os-x-10-7-lion/
That could help very much, sir. I put in the command and got the process working. But how do I get it to show up in my username folder? Do I just restart my computer?
Phew, good thing I didn't upgrade to Lion; it sounds like a total mess right now!
Phew, good thing I didn't upgrade to Lion; it sounds like a total mess right now!
Honestly, it needs work. It excels in some places, and severely lacks in others. You were smart to wait.
Open Terminal and enter in
chflags nohidden ~/Library
You'll probably be told to re-enter your password. Boom, Library reappears in Finder.

Yeah thanks for this thread OP, its convinced me not to update quite yet.
Easier than a terminal command, you can follow these instructions if you aren't familiar with console commands: - Focus on Finder - Click 'Go' on the top toolbar - Hold the 'alt' key on your keyboard, and Library appears between 'Home' and 'Computer' Job done.
