Any reason why the Gunboats are uncraftable?

I have 3 gunboats. It would be handy if I could craft them but I can't.

Any reason behind this?

But I got 2 equalziers and one gunboats. All 3 are dupes. Seriously valve, why can't we craft them?

Yeah, you can craft gunboats together, but you can't craft them with other soldier weapons.
