Steam updated recently and I tried joining a TF2 server after it did so.
When I tried joining I get disconnected with an error message popping up reading "Server is enforcing consistency for this file: Water/dx_80.pcf" (actually a forward slash but my keyboard's retarded).
Is anyone else getting this?
Servers need to update.
Just wait patiently.
Whoops, forgot to mention in OP that after that first attempt at joining a server failed, I tried another, same result, and for the next one, and the next one, and so on until I got sick of it and decided to post this.
The servers haven't updated yet. Give them 48 hours.
The update just came out and servers need to be restartet to get the latest update. I guess they are restarted once every 24 hours, but some servers may not.

Valve needs to make a message when you try to connect to a server that hasn't updated yet it says "Server has not updated yet. Please wait for server to update" or something instead of the water particle message.
