So yesterday i decided to play tf2 for the first time in almost 4 months. Usually I'm TERRIBLE (i mean terrible) at the sniper class
But yesterday i was getting headshot after headshot even fast moving scouts, i second to the top of the board of a 32 player server within like 15 minutes.
So have you guys experienced this? Sucks i can't be that good all the time :saddowns:
I had been away from tf2 for like 3 months. I come back, try my hand at default scout unlocks, and holy shit how the fuck am i doing this i have like a 20 kills streak jesus christ
I took a 2 months break once too, and when I came back I was better with the scout than I was before.
i did this with the soldier, i killed like 5 heavies in a row with the direct hit
Yeah, it happens to me every time I lay off the TF2 for a while. No idea why.
This happens a lot to me.
Exact opposite happens with me. The biggest kill streak I got after not playing for a month was 3.
Well, depending on my FPS sometimes I can do good as a sniper.
Usually I have 10-20 FPS on all low settings, DX8 too. Soo meh, sometimes I do good, sometimes I don't.
Nah, I usually do worse, unless there's a new update or something on which I'm good for about a day
GOLD MEMBER POST. HELL YES

Anyways, same things happens in a lot of games to me. I don't know why it happens.
Wow that sounds really weird -

nevermind
Happens to me all the time.
Also, R4iden got perma'd less than an hour after becoming Gold Member :v:
What a tool.
This happens to me when I play css but never for TF2, strange.
This happens to me with every game :P
Its like learning a dance, you try it again after a break in a few days and your better at it.
Stop playing as Sniper. Once I didn't play for a long time, and then when I played as Demo, I was doing very well.
Happens to me in a lot of FPS. For example after not playing MW2 for a month or so because it was boring, my friend asks me to play for a bit. I play and got my first nuke on the first round. (I quit again since then, boring game is boring.) I also started playing TF2 lately again but I do just as good as I used to before I stopped playing.
Before the L4D series, I horrible as Soldier and now it's one of the only classes I play.
That 4 month period probably was enough to shrug of some bad habits or something.

On topic: Doesn't happen to me. I stopped playing for a bit and got terrible at spy. Still easing my way back up to where I was before, but I'm using the dead ringer much too much.

That's fucking priceless.
After 3 months I decided to play TF2 again. Its like all my skill is gone :frown:

have you tried playing sniper on a 32 player server? no the map wasn't ctf_orangeetc it was a valve map, not to mention i somehow get a higher score than 14 players within minutes of joining a game that's halfway done
or maybe it was as easy as you think
btw im probably not as good as you in tf2 in any class
Havent played in few weeks now, but i played so much of tf2 my skill batteries are still not drained so i would still be good :smug:
It has happend to me to but as a pyro.
I usually stink with the pyro as i try to push them into a wall and then AXE them a question. But just a couple of moments ago i put a new personal record with 31 points in one life.
I usually get one kill and die on a 32 server but today i even got accused of hacking. Man i love pyros now!
Same here, after playing BC2 for a month I decided to play tf2 just for the heck of it, for some reason I could aim faster and better.
I became the MVP in my first round. :3:
wow whenever i leave a game and don't play it for a month or two i get unusually terrible and i have to start all over again.

but it only takes an hour or two to get the feel back.
Happens to me occasionally, most often in RPGs. I'll get to that one boss, and I just can't fucking beat him. Try and try and try, cannot beat him. Ragequit, play again in two weeks, completely and utterly destroy him, never drop below 75% health. I still don't know what the hell that is.
Depends on the class
Engie, soldier, pyro, heavy and medic I get better at
Spy, scout, demoman and sniper I get worse at
