Okay so, all of the sudden TF2 lags like shit for me, I even set all settings on as low as possible but it still lags just as much. I tried a high-quality config a while back, but I deleted it. Could that have affected it somehow?

The reason I didn't post it in that thread is because this is a constant FPS drop that doesn't change in battle or out of battle.
Well,I don't know if it helps,but I took complete PC apart,and cleaned the dust of it,which made fan spin better,and now I have around 25FPS in battle,ok for me.

See the other thread for what I posted and add -autoconfig to your Team Fortress 2 launch options for _only_ one launch, then remove -autoconfig.
