I havent gotten the red background since the update

It's 50/50 chance, actually. ChapterBackgrounds.txt has set the old Red background with the beta designs and new Blu background as the default two and the old main background with the big Medic (background01) as the loading screen.

I have only had the blu background as well. I don't like the colour, I want it to be red.

I don't give a shit what background I get, because I'll either be in game, or have my normal desktop background, not sitting looking at the menu and contemplating how much of an erection is natural to get over a TF2 menu screen.
