Does the achievement unlocker still unlock weapons?

all i can get it to do is unlock the achievements and not the milestone weapons

According to robin, the new system also looks for achievement manager. Too lazy to look for the email though...

You can change your records with it so maybe. I don't know how those work though. I rarely play TF2.
