Alright, i bought tf2 when it first came out. it was boring, so i quit. I came back about a week ago, and its fun as hell. Could you guys awnser a few questions for me? People say every hour you have a chance to get a hat/item per hour. Is this true? How do you get scrap and other metals without using your weapons to smelt? Is idling bannable? Thank you for reading this. I'm not active on the forums alot, but i try.

Camera Beards used to be as common as finding a weapon. 2. It's just based on luck. 3. Smelting. 4. If you have extras I don't see why not.

Quick question, do you need to play 25 minutes or four hours straight in one go or can you play like 10 minutes then another 15 later on and have a chance at an item?

I believe it's a global wave every 25 minutes, so you could play for 2 minutes at 25 minute intervals and get shit.

Sorry for 16 hr bump but i didnt want to make a new thread. Idling, if i get reported will i get banned? If i minimize tf2 while idling, will i still get items?

Does your item drop timer reset if you leave a server/exit the game?
