Arn't these things kina flawed? You have to kill people as well as surf. It works in CSS but Tf2? Scout will double jump demoman will sticky the ramp things. I've never seen one of these srevers but do they have these problems?
Not really, a demoman can't shoot sticks faster than people can respawn, but if the map allows teleports then spawncamping becomes a big issue.
It won't be i direct kill. Bombs plus physics = points
people camp spawn and set up a sentry and stuff

Badly made surf map then.
surf started in cs and the maps were made for cs.
It is a lot better on cs, although it's fun on tf2, except the person who remade most of the maps, remade them badly.
I play surf a lot, but on tf2 there are many spawn campers and annoying placed sentries.
Only decent maps for tf2 right now are Great River and 10X
tf2 surf usually has super-ultra RoF
I've seen TF2 surf.
It's not nearly as good as counter strike source surf however.
Sentries, everywhere.
Teleporters out of jail, etc.
Equipping scout doesn't make you go faster :(

That's probably the only thing I hate about surf maps. Otherwise they are fun.

They are pretty fun. Some maps downright suck, but some are nice.

Don't worry dude, I know how you feel. Just try to stay on the flat side of the, um, "surf board" if you will. Don't go up onto the pointy part, but just stay on the flat side of the board. Worked for me! Took me long enough too..

Multiplay has a good surf server with spawn protection.

(the O is you, and the other thingies are the ramp's section) just keep D pressed to go right and not fall. Don't press W or S or you'll fall. If the ramp is on the other side, keep A pressed. Try to gather momentum for ramp jumps, too.
Eh.. I'll stick to my stock maps in TF2 and leave surfing for Counter Strike.

Actually it's very fun surfing.. There are a few servers out there with a decent community, the only flaw in it is, some maps are campable (jail, top part of an area)...

I know I'm replying to a super old post, but legendary is a good tf2 surfing map.
