OFFICIAL* MANN CO. RAFFLE!
(That Banner goes to amazing places, like our Steam Group page!)

Presented by the Unofficial Mann Co. Headgear Association
=================================================
Welcome!
In light of the serious monetary troubles brought on from being completely seperate from our parent company, the Unofficial Mann Co. Headgear Association is holding a raffle to make some funds!
To those amongst us who aren't Robin Walker or Saxton Hale, hats are pretty rare things, we decided to take a page out of our fine Australian leader's best selling book: "How to Sell Products and Get in Fights" (Only ¥5.99!), and offer you hats in return for money. However, when counting the funds inbetween hippie-beating corrals (A weekly tradition down here at headquarters), we discovered we don't have nearly enough hats to do that or enough money to even start. So we decided to hold an event where all of you give us lots of money and in return we choose a random person to give a single hat to. Later, upon reading our Australian leader's best selling book: "How to Sell Products and Get in Fights" (Only ¥9.99!) we found out that this was called a "raffle", the legitimate rip-off of the sales world (Covered in chapters 14-16).
We also realised that nobody in their right minds (All three of them) was going to give us funds in exchange for a one in however many shot at getting a hat, and we also happened to buy out a nice little scrap factory on Adelaide Street, so we're going to offer you a once in a lifetime± offer. Give us a mere three piles of scrap metal, obtained from any reputable engineer, and we'll put your (user)name in a fancy hat. Also I guess we'll draw some name from the hat and give that person the hat (That's how a raffle works, right?).
So go forth, and multiply (our funds)!
(And don't forget to buy our fine Australian leader's best selling book: "How to Sell Products and Get in Fights", only ¥19.99!)

FAQ:
Q: Hold on one hippie-beating minute. Hasn't this been done before?
A: No. It has not. Now stop asking, you hippie sympathiser.
Q: How do I participate in a raffle?
A: Simple. Choose the raffle you would like to participate in, (series and number), and then let us know via this thread or the steam group page accouncements. You will not however, be officialy part of the draw untill you trade the reclaimed metal to any of these accounts: PaperStrike, Riomerc, or Tanaldion.
Q: What if the raffle doesn't happen? Will I get my reclaimed metal back?
A: In the off chance that a raffle does not occur due to lack of interest, all participants will get their metal back (unless they wish to participate in another raffle) and the raffle will be cancelled to make way for a new one. Simple as that.
Q: Do you actually make any metal from this?
A: No. All metal made on top of those spent running the raffles will be put towards more raffles, not increasing our egos, or hat collections. If you are interested as to the goings back and forward of metal, page 4 of this backpack will be dedicated to the raffles.
Q: If a raffle has 12 participants, where do the other 3 reclaimed metals go?
A: All remaining metal that has not been used in making a hat for a raffle will go towards covering losses in 6 person raffles, and having further raffles, and will not be used in any other way.
Q: Can I participate twice in the same raffle?
A: No. You can however, participate in as many different raffles as you wish, even if you've already won one.
Q: If I withdrawl from the raffle, will I get my metal back?
A: Yes. You simply need to alert us before the raffle occurs.
Q: When a raffle is full, when will the drawing occur?
A: The drawing is liable to happen between 6 and 24 hours from its fill time. If you wish to withdrawl, you have this time to do so. However, we suggest you don't, and would point to the large cougars behind us, but you cannot see us, and thus, will just have to take our word for it. We have cougars. Big ones.

"One reclaimed metal"
Fuck
Yeah I won't be able to participate in any of these. No reclaimed metal here.
Too many of these things. iRunner would be sad.
I'm in, I'd like to participate in Raffle no. 1.
Oi, I'm participating in the Raffle #1. I love randomness. Now, where do I sign again?

There will have to be a megathread.
No spare weapons in my backpack, I can't even make any scrap metal without wasting perfectly good weaponry.
Bump since I want to be in a raffle.
Jesus 1 Reclaimed?Well i guess the guy that charges only 1 scrap it's a really nice person.

You have an incredibly higher chance to win in these raffles - as the raffles that cost a single scrap have way more people. It's not like we're keeping the metal, we're using it to craft more hats for the raffles.

To join a raffle, join the group and comment on the raffle announcement of the one you would like to participate in.
I don't find 1/9 chances to be a high chance, sir.
Oh god i have to give up 1 precious reclaimed metal to enter this raffle what ever will i do.
I don't find 1/9 chances to be a high chance, sir.
I didn't say it was a 'high chance' - I said the chances were incredibly higher. Pat's raffle has 20+ people in it, and if my math serves me right, 1/9 is a higher chance than 1/20+ ;D.
