As the title states "Once you craft a Ghastly Gibus, can you get it again?". Because i would really like to know because i would like a new hat, but i want to know if i can get another one.

Valve needs to let people craft only their 2nd gibus, since most people who got one from the giveaway also got one from the achievement.

But, even if you could craft it, the answer to the initial question is no. You will never be able to get another Gibus again. If you've already done the achievement for it, then it's over. You can't reset the achievement to get another one.

If you could, I wouldn't. In the same why I can't craft away my last of a wepaon, I couldn't craft either of my gibus', even if I never wear them and they look like shit. It's the same reason I hate not having the paper bag, my backpack just doesn't feel complete.

If that worked people would use achievements as a never ending source of scrap metal.
