I haven't been to an eGo server before, and people say the servers suck. But why do they? No one has really explained why they suck a lot. Anyone mind giving me a few reasons why they're shit servers?

They're too strict, tend to house immature people (still better than mario kart though) and the admins tend to be fags. Also, some people have lag issues, but that's normal with servers.

the main admins don't abuse thier powers, but they give admin powers to just about everyone, including whiny 12 year olds who'll ban you for the stupidest reasons.

I was happily C6-ing as an Engineer (DAMNIT, DAGNABBIT) and I got harshly warned and later kicked because of NAUGHTY WORDS!

I've played on 2 eGO servers and I've never had a problem. I've even made the characters cuss while I'm in front of admins and I didn't get a response. And I've never seen anybody be banned for anything not specified in the server rules.
I'm guessing the troubles lie in only a few of their servers.
Yeah, apparently you're supposed to whack another voice command out if your character starts to swear, or it's the banhammer for YOU! :cop:

Sounds like you got lucky then. Normally a failmin is always on a server ready to ban the first person who says "crap".

So I can talk shit about how dumb it is to constantly bash and bash a single clan just for having swear restrictions even though there are ten times worse clans out there that when people swear they are instantly banned. These clans also have class restrictions, gameplay restrictions. Is eGO the top most bashed because their servers are very popular and full for almost the whole day? I got banned for cursing.
I got my warning, argue with the admin go whatever. I play normally. However there's another guy... who can't stop cursing. The admin bans me, AND him for cursing. I didn't even utter half of a curse word after I got my warning... They banned me for another guy cursing.
