When I find an item ingame, it doesn't tell anyone in the chat, it shows the 'You've found ...' window after I die, but if I click 'discard item', it's gone, and it still doesn't show anything in chat. But if I click 'ok', it shows it up on chat and I get the item in my inventory. Not really annoying or something, just thought it was weird because no one else I know has this.
Doesn't sound like a glitch too me.

It means you got it long time ago but it didnt tell you yet. It was keeping it as a suprise for when you did the worst to make you feel better =D
It's actually a virus.
You should delete TF2 immediately.
