This time it really feels like valve doesn't want to add any new weapon. All these new reskins do is add to the confusion and dissapoint everyone.
And seriously, full sets without any weapon? That's the most idiotic thing they pulled out of their arses after no-bonus sets. Why even bother to have a set?
What I, and most of you were expecting for this update was new weapons, and valve just wasted some good models to make reskins.
I'd say get yourself a consciencious objector and let's go protest on valve servers, but I don't feel like giving money to valve when all they do is shit on my hard drives without any substantial content.
So I think we should give them feedback and show them why people used to like TF2 updates:
-because they were supposed to be game changing
-because the content used to be worth the teasing
-because the hats were marginal, which they weren't at all in the last 2 major update.
How could I, and everybody who's with me, of course, show valve that we do not want more fucking reskins and hats?

Now I can understand you would do that for the halloween items since they're limited in time, but what about the manniversary and summer camp weapons? They are completely useless and nobody asked for them.

I'm personally happy they're slowing down with the new weapons. That way they might be able to balance the ones we already have in between collecting piles of cash from hat sales.

Abolishing any future set bonuses from even being conceptualized is the best damn thing to happen to themed item sets since they were originally added.
Is having a themed set of items that visually compliment one another not good enough for you? Do you need some free perk to even justify using these items?

Well, it's been a few months since the Uber Update, and they've only tried balancing one weapon, and it was in the regular game and not the beta.

Limited-distribution items [i]MUST[/i] be reskins or there will be shit hitting the fan when a large chunk of the community is incapable of attaining a [b]gameplay-affecting[/b] item.
NeoDement's items from the Manniversary are reasonable to be disappointed with; but holiday-only items need to be available for everyone to use or not do anything that players don't already have access to.

I'm getting upset that this update got so hyped for a bunch of useless stuff and that I had to stay up very late to see all of it and that some gorgeous items that took a lot of effort to create have become official yet completely useless piece of crap, which is more models for me to download, and I am forced to download these.

I don't think I like Drunken Fool anymore, if he's the one responsible for the whole recent "No weapons, just cosmetic reskins of old weapons" drought we've been in. I don't mind hat updates, but this is fucking ridiculous. I'd rather have no new weapons that weapons that don't do anything new.
That comic was fantastic, but the game itself is losing life very fast. I wouldn't mind a drought of weapons if it meant that they were fixing the game, but they aren't at all. The game gets more broken with each update and they haven't gone back to address the more underpowered or poorly balanced weapons, nor have they been fixing many glitches. And now here I am hearing that Valve isn't adding new weapons because they got their feelings hurt from "pay-to-win" complaints? Right now, my image of Valve as a company isn't very positive. Instead of the old company that used to be very involved in its game that listened to the community, I'm seeing a company that just wants to dump hats in to the game and rake in cash while the game dies.
I'm going to get rated dumb for this, but I don't care. I love this game and I really do hate it to see what it's becoming. I'll play this update, and I'll try my best to enjoy this update, but that doesn't mean I have to enjoy what the game is becoming.
