Unable to play Team Fortress 2 after using Source tools

So all my steam games work except tf2. When I start tf2, it looks pretty normal like Preparing to launch game etc. You get the normal intro. And then Tf2 just disappears. Please help me! The source tool thread wasn't very helpful.

I think I have solution.
Start up Source Tools (not ez-spectate)
Press 4,choose backup.
If that doesnt work,start up Source Tools,and choose option 1.
