Mary Mother of God; TF2Items' Trading Area is a mess. - Games

So. I use TF2Items for the trading section. I set up a thing with fairly reasonable terms, ect. A nametag thing comes up. 'Oh, cool' I think automatically, and I attempt to contact the person. 'THREE HATS' Yeah. Fuck that. Next person. Oh, this one wants crates? Awesome, I have two on m- [highlight][B]'FOUR CRATES'[/B][/highlight] What the fuck. Hats are even worse. People demanding up to five different ones for a single one. Is it just me or does the whole Mannconomy thing have it's darker side, in turn with it's people who actually enjoy a decent trade?

I'm more of a one to hunt down idiots who would accept these trades. So far I've near tripled my hat count since I started.

FP trading, is best trading.

Just move on to the next person who can make a more reasonable deal.

Yeah, DF seriously needs to refine the trading page to allow you to specify EXACT trades and view ALL offers for an item you're putting up for trade. The way it is now is causing everyone to just hit "select all" when putting up a hat, making it look like they would accept something a lot less valuable for their valuable hat, and then you go to contact them and it turns out they actually wanted four hats or something ridiculous.

I put a fez up for trade and what do I get? 40-50 friend requests offering shit items like parasites or billycocks.

Pokemon wifi centre is about as worse as this. As I expected.

I expect such trades to pop up within the first one or two weeks or so when people don't know how much stuff is worth. That's how you can trade crates for hats and Refined Metals.

I've contacted 10+ people for 1 hat trade, with each person turning me down even though they listed that they were interested. I should only see people that are actually willing to trade.

I think I got something that tops all of these. I wanted the Spy's Eternal Reward, some guy says he has one, so we enter trading. "What do you want for it?" "4 hats and a Mann Co. Supply crate." "..."

It's like "Oh boy, I've finally found someone who wants to trade my *hat* for their *hat*! Time to send a trade request." 'No hurp I want two hats/your hat and polycount items for my hat' :smith:

Though I just said fuck it, I bought this game for 15 bucks, and I got more enjoyement out of it that Mw2 and BC2 that I still regret buying to this day. So I wasted 40 euros on this. Oh well, 20 goes to the creator of the delivery man package

I actually did a couple hat trades on TF2items in the 1st day, since though it's been a complete waste of time. I make sure if they say something stupid about my offer that I say something about their stupidity checking all hats/items.

I use select all to trade expensive hats, it's not my fault if people don't read my name which very clearly says "HAT FOR 4+ OLD HATS" and then they rage at me when I won't take an alien swarm hat or a camera beard. It just gets so tiring trying to wade through the idiots. Now trading is alot harder, and they said I was stupid for setting up early trades.
