So I need help playing a spy in tf2! I heard that your suposed to be able to attack while cloaked, and that uncloaks you, but when i try to shoot or stab while cloaked, it wont work and im forced to uncloak, which takes a second, then they see me and I get killed.....soooooo
You can attack while disguised, not cloaked.
Ees not possible!
That's the whole idea. You use the cloak to get behind the enemy, then apply a disguise so they don't notice who you are. Wait until they turn their backs to you and are distracted, stab them and hide with the cloak if things get sticky again. Rinse and repeat.
Type "Spy Gameplay" or "Spy Tutorial" in YouTube and see how other people use the items.

I think he mis-interpreted what the "Cloak & Dagger" meant.

Have you ever played spy? You can attack when disguised.
You're getting it all wrong. You can't attack while cloaked, but you can attack while disguised.
Watch these videos. Remember that these are outdated, (the first one is 3 years old) but they get the point across.

Once you know the basics and have got the time, watch these. These show some great techniques, though you shouldn't look at the gameplay itself. He plays mediocre.
