Im curious, what does everyone think that valve is gonna pull today, I mean its not like them to not do anything today for tf2.
From what i think, would be some blog about some MASSIVE joke update, basically doing the complete opposite of what the steam forums cry about.
Such as.
Achievement_idle now an offical map.
While in spectate, your item drop chance triples.
Anyone that has idled 100+ hours now gets the new exclusive idler only hat.
All official maps have had all the optimization removed and replaced with very heavy weather effects.
TF2 now only runs in DX11 and the only options for graphics is Ultra.
Mat_picmip set to -10 by default.

2fort has had the bridge removed, and the water replaced by acid. Only dead ringer spies can pass through it.
Upper deck is now longer for better sniper support.
(this is obviously taken from 2fort_sniper in tfc :P)
*weapon changes*
Backburner now has -25 hp reduction added.
ChargeNtarge now gives critical to grenades while charging and also has its own 4th slot.
etc...
Basically something like that, and tf2 will actually update, but with nothing added.
- Team Fortress 3 Teaser.
- 10th Class.
- Removed hats from the games.

As I recall, it already does this you just have to time it well.

Nah, nothing will happen. Valve are lazy.
Steam News will say "EPISODE 3 RELEASE DATE CONFIRMED!" and then say "ANNOUNCEMENT POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE" when you click on the link.
We'll get an advertisement of an item that we will all laugh at and say "Lol, that item is so horrible, Valve would never put that in the game." And then, when the Engineer Update rolls around and shows us that item is real, we'll all rage so hard, that we boycott TF2 for that day only.

I've yet to be able to do it since my timing is utter shit, but if you get it right at the end of the charge, you can get a guaranteed crit.
