I think I unlocked HARD MODE.
I've got this weird thing going on where every class I play is spawning with 75 health. Heavy, Scout, it doesn't matter. 75 max health.
Not only that, but I only seem to be doing a small fraction of the damage I should be doing. Testing it in tr_walkway, I'm doing about 20-25 damage with point-plank scattergun shots.
I've verified the game cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, tried a different TF2 account on this computer, tried mine on other computers... I seem to be the only one having this issue, because if I use my account, I have these problems.
I've reported the bug two or three times over the last few weeks and even kicked an e-mail to RW himself, but so far I haven't gotten anything back and my problem still remains.
Is there anything else I can try? It's made playing this game completely impossible.
Valve are using you as a guinea pig.

That doesn't sound possible. How many different servers have you tried?
The only POSSIBLE solution I can think of is that some bastard coded a sourcemod plugin to make life harder for you rather than banning you, but even that doesn't make sense if you've tried other servers.
This happens on all public servers, private servers, and even listen servers.

This is interesting to say the least. Reformat your entire hard drive maybe? Sometimes reinstalling still leaves some bugs - my minigun fire sound is still corrupted after multiple reinstalls.

Also record a video showing this and put it on youtube. It might get Valve's attention.

I get this too, I spawn with only 25 health taken off though but my shots do all the same damage, this is on all servers too
If you could, get a video of you running around on TR_Walkway for about a minute or two, then have it swap to you on a public server. Then on a different public server.
I don't have any video software loaded at the moment. I'll see what I can do about recording and uploading a demo file later tonight or something.

Also, OP should man up and get adjusted to this. It'd be epic if you were skillful enough to pull of kickass moves with it.
