Funny how you can't find ONE Valve employee that has the new Telltale items !

... considering their blog entry statement:
"we all agreed that one of these days we should do something cool together, because they're big fans of TF2, and we're big fans of getting advance copies of Sam & Max episodes."
They're SUCH big fans!

They are too cool for cheap models.
Valve Employees get all games for free, or at least Gabe does. They get them as soon as a person uploads it on Steam.
I wish I was a valve employee :saddowns:

lol no
theft is not allowed regardless of company
Telltale probably sent them hard copies in advance.

If I had to guess, I'd say Valve bought them for their employees as a perk. The end result is still that the employee gets it for free.
Maybe they had it before the items
Perhaps they haven't logged into TF2 yet? They have shit to do, like developing games and arguing with Eric.
nice one
Nice find, though it's probably because they got the games for free before anyone else. So technically they didn't pre-order.
Or that no one has bothered to send the items to each employee yet.

All of them have every single Steam game in their game list. (1187 games)
Did you happen to know that most people don't get the games for steam, but directly from telltale's website?
:downs:
Did you consider that you actually have to join a TF2 server to get the items?

They'd appear below the backpack, waiting to be recieved.
Notice how neither of them have Bill's Hat
They sure are good money grabbing fans!
I wonder is Valve's Janitor gets free games

It's okay though because Chet has a halo.

Sorry if this is unrelated, am I the only one who cannot stand Chet?
I don't know if it is the constant L4D interviews and his terrible droning voice or his attitude.

Wrong, actually.
A valve employee (CONFIRMED, by the way) on facepunch said that all ValvE developers get "Developer Accounts" which give them access to every game, dlc, beta, etc.
And it's not theft, the companies uploading the game AGREE to make the games available in that way. Andefore you get all jealous, most Valve Employees don't play a lot of games, as they have a very busy schedule and a life.
It is a pretty fucking awesome perk for working at a company, though. Access to almost every good game on the PC.

Oh, and OP has a major contradiction, too.
All Valve employees have ALL games, including Sam and Max. So in technicality, they do own the games still and still are fans of it.
Okay, when the game was first added to Steam, it was automatically added to Valve's account, this was before they offered the special items. This is the only explanation.
Oh, and, most of the valve employees ever play video games anyways (in their free time) :P

I can't stand his attitude, he has a slightly "holier than thou" feel to him. And he is just a cock.
Though did this really warrant a thread? So what, the devs don't have some items, what difference does it make? You probably will never run into them.
Valve employees can choose what hats they have. If they have better hats for every class, why waste the backpack space?
didnt know that chet falizsek actually plays tf2 :o
They have every hat already, they won't wear the new ones and they have a valve revolver, but I don't see a valve pistol, who fucking knows?

w-hat the Christ.
