I need TF2 to look even more shit than it already does

Right, now that the Polycount update has halved my framerate, I need an fps config that squeezes more fps out of my laptop than m0re's config.

2) a job that gets them enough money to buy the best computer ever made
3) parents that don't buy them anything they want to keep them happy

Seriously now... I bet TF2 ran easy on his pc back before all the updates because Valve really doesn't optimize TF2.

I think the config I linked is actually Chris', but I edited it quite a bit, so I can still see sprays, water is not black, etc.

yep. 40 fps on medium in early 2009, now it's 20 fps with m0re's config.

Hopefully the config that JurajIsNotPirat posted will increase it.

Hey, I have the same problem, I used to get 20-ish FPS. And then Valve released all of those updates. They really, [B]REALLY[/B] need to optimise it. I have to run the game in DX8 mode just to get a decent framerate worth playing.
