It seems there hasn't been much talk about adding one here.
Wouldn't it make sense to have one? People would be able to make a thread for their offer, and if people are interested, they will post in the thread. If its a dumb offer, nobody will post, and the thread will fall off the 1st page.
Its just... right now there are so many things wrong with the 2 trading threads.
-What is even the difference between them? I see items being offered in the "Hat trading thread", and I see hat-only trades in the "Trading thread", so why are there even 2 threads on this?
-I often see someone posting saying that they want a specific item, RIGHT AFTER the person above them said that they have the item. Lots of people are going into the threads, posting that they have/want something, and then leaving, never to see that there were like 3 offers for exactly what they wanted within the last 2 pages.
-People spam their same request over and over and over. If we had a trading subforum with a "no double posting" rule, all it would take for a trade to die is for nobody to post in the thread.
I dunno, it just seems that it makes sense. I know you guys hate the Steam forums and how they do things, but I think its completely ridiculous the way we have it set up here.
Well me and Galago are working on a trading site as well, so hopefully it will clear up some spam :v:
It works, so long as the threads dont move too fast.
Also, deals that are almost the same should be merged :<

Oh, cool! Could you please somehow implement the ability to show exactly what you are trading for? For example, if you choose Chieftan's for 4 hats, someone with one of those 4 hats sees that you are requesting 3 hats PLUS theirs, not just theirs?
That's by far the most annoying part of TF2items.

Not trying to be funny, just a mistake, fuck. I had several FP threads open and got mixed up.
A site soley dedicated to trading is a lot more sensible than a massive flood of threads. Hope it gets done soon!
A subforum wouldn't work as well as a trade organizer website.
Less spam + more attention + better community at Facepunch = great deals.

SUF also have one, that doesn't make it good. Besides, that website only has 27 members atm.

The trading craze will die down in a week or two, there will be less spammy threads everywhere. And if it doesn't, Jim will step in and start applying new rules to try and clean up the spam. As it is now, this is just the standard new update craze. I just wish the main trading thread didn't get 20 posts every 10 minutes.

I like the idea, maybe make it so pages are twice/three times the size of a normal page, because everyone just looks at the first page.
Also make an option for the OP to lock his own thread.

It would be great, but the chance of happening it is low.
The trading threads consist for 5% of actual replies to trading requests anyway.
