Well, that doesn't sound as good as I thought it would, but these are still welcome.
they completely remove the purpose of that class.
yay, battle engy.
-Engie wrench that builds at 150%, without the ability to upgrade things. This is basically the ultimate offensive engie weapon
-There are a couple different versions of blutsauger and ubersaw, with different drawbacks like doing less damage.
-There is indeed a couple different flame resistant suits for the spy. They replace his pistol
-Heavy has the best change. KGB is now the "Gloves of Running Urgently" making him move at normal speed when out, but removing the crits on kill and making them do 50% less damage. The couple versions of this include one that drains 6 health per second on use, and one that just decreases his max health by 100.
-snip-
I've wanted a fast building wrench for a while now.
So this is the selective Beta? Because I'd like to try it out.
These new gloves are going to be awesome to build up übercharges :v:
Championship Gaming Series here we come?
Nevermind, they went bust.
Source please

Is it "objects" as in "non-sentry buildings"? That would make more sense.
I like the heavy changes.
These will be able to be used in pubs, right?
They better don't put that stuff into the normal TF2.
I'm not too fond of the changes they are making. I like the way TF2 is now.
I want those gloves
Hmm, so I guess it would make sense for even non-offensive engies to equip the wrench, build all their things, then switch to normal wrench.
Those Heavy gloves sound awesome. I can't wait to try it out.
No...that can't be the new engy unlock.
Not upgrading? WHAAAT.
I can see how the GoRU would work. If you need to run super fast from somebody it would be helpful. I don't see much pros in the P.D.Q though. Would be better if it did more damage.

It's not a change/upgrade, IT IS AN ALTERNATIVE.
They both own.
GRU is a cool name and pun, and sounds very useful. Would also help for charging a medics uber, I love it. Losing all that melee damage would suck for those times I take the sandvich and need quick damage, though, so it's balanced :I
The P.Q.R would be amazingly useful for playing on gravelpit or badlands. Plus, I'm sure it would still allow friendly engineers to upgrade your stuff, meaning engi teamwork is now a lot more interesting! Would like it more if it lowered build costs, though.
Only thing I'm wary about is how they'll hand out the gloves. With no achievements, would we have to wait to get them randomly? That would suck major dick.
Where is this leaked from?

Generally, if you, A HEAVY WEAPONS GUY, need to run away, it's likely due to almost-fatal wounds. I doubt you can use the G.R.U. to escape efficiently.

They aren't going to. All this competitive stuff is going to be for the competitive version of TF2.

WRONG! They are using competitive player's opinion to make changes to tf2! There isn't going to be two version of tf2!
Anyone have the Tf2items link for these guys pages?

What? No, lol. This is all going to be in the regular game. Valve wouldn't bother playtesting something this much if only a portion of its players are gonna use it.

I think not. New playstyles and content is for everyone.
Ahahha, looking forward to this
Anyone got a link to where the OP found this?

The TF2 beta uses a different client than TF2, I don't think the backpacks would be shared. Even then, valve could just make the items server-side, meaning they don't show up in your backpack, like drunken_f00ls rocket launcher did.
