Well i just updated my tf2 and try to join a server. and it just stays at Parsing Game Info. is it just cause its loading the update files or is it broken. i need help :(

should i just delete the local content and reinstall it. it worked when my gmod had the same problem. but i think it could be a file

No, Verify first. If that doesn't work, then delete your tf2 folder and start the game again.

OKAY, I just experienced what you described TheSpy.
I tried connecting to a server, got stuck on "Parsing Info".
Tried another server, worked.
This happened with L4D2 also, my guess, is that the servers you're trying to connect to might not have updated yet.
Not sure if that's it, but it's possible.
