After Valves apprehension of the idling "Criminals" I lost the only item I gave a shit about, my hatless engineer...er hat... However, the only reason I'm mad at this is because I was mislead. I got the external Idler was from a youtube video (found here: [url]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hp0DJcVzRow[/url]). The description of this video says the external idler was "safe". I thought, "Valve shouldn't have a reason to ban, or punish me in any way, because it has the same effects as idling". I started this thread to admit that I've used the external idler, and am ashamed for it. Feel free to make fun of me for not getting the "Cheater's Lament" hat (I don't really like it anyway). If you were a cheater and want to confess to your doing so, please post here...or make fun of me for being a dirty cheater.
