I changed the sound of Buff Banner, the sound is longer than the Buff Banner sound so the sound stops after 3 seconds because the original Buff Banner is like 3 seconds.

Perhaps you could do it with CTX editing, but it would only work on local servers?

You can't change it, the sounds stops playing after the animation, it's coded into the game. Stop pissing about with sounds and you're fine.

No, you're wrong.
Buff Banner sound is nearly 3 seconds, I replaced it with a 10 second sound. Works perfect. I could replace it with a 2 minute song, would work perfect.
I think you need to rebuild soundcache with snd_rebuildsoundcache (or something like that, you'll know what it is when you start typing)
