I see that there's a "remove tag" feature or something from looking at the update news, but I'm not sure if this means that you reclaim the name tag item as well. Can anyone answer my question?
I believe it's the same as paint. (You won't get it back)
Nah, it's a one-time use item, hence the (1) in the upper-right corner of it's icon in your inventory.
