When VALVe first released the new drop system update, I was happy, because I would get 1 item in 30 minutes or in 1 hour (no hats after the update though). That was really awesome, but as soon as my playtime indicator in 2 weeks hit 32 hours (now it's 38 hours in 2 weeks and still no new items), I wouldn't get any items anymore. I've seen idlers connect to a server I was playing and get like 20-25 items, so it's 20-25 hours of idling done. I checked their page and it said they've had 60-100 hours of gameplay (mostly idling). Seriously, what the fuck?
So what do you think, did VALVe fuck up again, or is just me who has this?

You're only supposed to get a set amount of items within a certain amount of time.
The only random factor within it is when during that amount of time you get the items.
You hit the max amount of time and you have to wait.
you own one + box
you only get a limited amount of items a week
They set a limit to minimalise idling

Oh, I thought it was 'more playtime = less items'.
Thanks for clearing it up for me.
P.S. rated myself dumb.

I'm getting tired of posts like this. Predicting your own dumb ratings doesn't lessen their effect, which is nothing at all other than a quick visual summary of your post's quality. Worse yet, saying that you are expecting dumb ratings shows that you knew your post/thread was stupid before you even posted it. General rule of thumb here: if you aren't sure of the quality of your post, then don't post at all.

At least he isn't like junkie who acted like a 5 year old in L4D going
"Oh I don't care about being rated dumb"
