Female Medic and Heavy models - Games

Done enough to release, anyway. There are still a few bugs to fix and improvements I'd like to make, and as they are implemented, I'll release updates to these models. Thanks to all of my testers and those who gave feedback and suggestions along the way. Also, huge thanks to MiraiBaby and Jackrabbit Slams for lending their voices and to Tuan for adventures in debugging. I hope you'll enjoy them! A few things to note: -The Heavy's sound pack is quite large, and pushed the project file over fpsbanana's 49MB limit. You will find a separate link to the sound pack in the installation instructions. -In the past few days, it has been observed that the models display as wireframe/invisible in more servers than usual, even in ones that normally work fine. I don't know the exact reason for this, but restarting the game generally fixes them. If it's related to the medals update, the Medic model might require reworking of her facial flexes before it can be updated.

It's related to the point I mentioned above. I figured people would appreciate having the models now instead of waiting until I figure out what happened.

Oh man. I can't play anymore. I get flooded with errors looking for the models for the Female Heavy. No female sounds. and only one icon is changed to be female. The one in the loadout. Medic works fine.

They're brilliant, but I can't find the link to the heavy soundpack :(

Rrr, it comes up as a blank page for me. Don't worry actually, I got around it using a proxy.

So is anyone else not able to use the Heavy? I really want to see her in-game.

It has to do with the spy's cloak. I got a friend on the other team to spam his CnD, and I watched as my blu scout constantly cloaked with a red glow during cloaking.

Although I don't think I'll use it, I must give you kudos for your amazing work.

I love the heavy soundpack.

Something is bugging me about the heavy's shoulders, but I'm not sure other than that, this is incredible. It's near flawless, it fits with the game.

I already posted this on your deviantart, but Valve should include these in an official update and let players switch back and forth between them.

Send them to valve now!

The disappearing/wireframe Heavy issue just started yesterday, on files and in servers (and sometimes developer commentary) that worked fine previously. My friend has been testing it out a lot, and found that a restart of the game tends to fix it for now. Will try to get to the bottom of it asap.

I have checked all files and they are in place. The sounds don't show up in-game and some of the Medics models are missing. I have deleted my entire tf folder and put only these in and still nothing.
