My PC is capable of playing tf2 at highest settings with ease, I recently got a few skins by the way, but I've made my own server and not have slow down before this, and it has started after the update. Anyone else getting it or is it just me?

Hell, I've had TF2 for a long time and it has never ever had such an FPS drop.
Valve "optimizations", code read but not tested
Yeah, I lost a lot of performance too. Give Valve time; they'll throw in a fix patch soon which should solve all our problems. That's usually how almost every "in-between" non-major TF2 update works; they update it once with a broken-as-shit patch and then a day later we get a fix patch for the first patch.
Silly, I know, but that's our Valve...
