You must be logged into Steam to view achievements.

...Um, what? How does that make any sense whatsoever? You have to have Steam running to play the game, and to run Steam, you have to log INTO Steam. :psyduck:

So how do I fix this rather annoying error? Because I just got Spies Like Us a minute ago (the icon popped up and everything) and apparently it didn't count for me because I "wasn't logged into Steam". I've tried restarting Steam and verifying my cache so far, but neither have worked.

It just lost connection the the steam servers. You can still play online, but you won't be able to use your unlocks or get achievements. It's been happening off and on for a while.
