I the last week or so I've been having some serious ping and lagging problems. When I go tab it says my ping is only in the 60ms range, but I turned on net_graph 4 and it's telling me it fluctuates from 50, all the way up to 300ms. It's quite random and seems to come in spikes
Can't figure out why, I've checked that no one in the family is downloading things or torrenting (at the moment all my family members are out and their computers are off), I did a speed test and got a 16ms ping to Adelaide (my local city) and got a 40ms ping to Sydney (where most of the Australian servers are hosted), so that doesn't seem like the problem. I did an integrity check on my tf2 files, no problems there. I honestly have no clue, any ideas?

I have been experiencing something like this. I've found the effects are somewhat less prevalent when I play on Hypernia servers.
