Well if anyone here has seen my original start of my tribute, it was meh and i sorta got discouraged on having to create 10s of scenes and rendering them all, then RE rendering them again, let be known i only have 1g of ram, making the rendering VERY long process. Yes i need more ram.
So i started from scratch, with new ideas, and a new song.
So far i finished the intro today. It all being done in SFM.
Except im taking a new turn, originally it was going to be 100% done in SFM, but as i said before, making all those scenes in each map, then rendering them, then RE rendering them is such a hassle for a glitchy looking and hard to pull off, Also no new weapons/hats to show which i want to.
The rest after this intro will take place in TF2 as it is now, using the sexy demo recording and some sexy plugins i got for after effects, I can make it look just or even better than SFM.
So here is the intro.

It was pretty cool, i liked the still alive remix song too
All of these slowmotion scenes were uninteresting because not rich at all visually (could have chosen other angles, for example).
Also, horrible stretching and awful music

Yeah thats why the rest is all going to be done in TF2 for a lot more action and better visuals, its just too much work in SFM all by myself doing it.
I like the music.
And the stretching, i have no idea how its horrible.
Its exactly 1280x720 lol
I like the music.
So? It doesn't have anything to do with TF2.
Mirrors Edge music? - Its therefore shabby.
you could just get friends together who have sfm and act it out on your own server
if you'd like some assistance, add me on steam. (look under my postcount!!)
maybe you should have actually used TF2 music, or even the Magnum Force Theme Song (snipers song is a remix of it)
EDIT: Oh, and overall it was terrible, just because it's Source Film Maker doesn't mean it's supposed to be slow motion. TF2 is about action and shooting, not slow motion running off a ridge. Even if it is all you, you can pretend to be in a firefight and have the "explode" and "kill" commands binded and ready to use to make it appear that you are actually being attacked and killed.
I don't like it

I guess for every single frag video/tribute/machinima made for tf2 needs to use the huge variety of tf2 songs right?
If it's for a TF2 tribute it doesn't make sense to use a MIRROR'S EDGE song.
Unless it somehow just featured the Scout and his nifty jogging skills, but still...

Honestly i never played mirrors edge, i had no idea it was, i was just searching through newground audio and found this one and really liked it, i didnt even know it was part of mirrors edge tbh.
Its that tf2 songs dont mix with what im trying to show, or do, i might change the song back to the old one i dunno yet. Just wait and see.
(Also i didnt add any sexy effects in yet, because it literally takes hours and hours to render once i add a few because of my 1g ram. Please bear with me on this.)
It's just random shooting in slow mo with HD. I know you're going for an artistic view but 8 pyros jumping off a cliff isn't entertaining.
It isnt finished, did anyone read?
This is only the intro, its in slomo because the music starts off slow.
It wasn't that bad, for an intro. People need to stop hating.
Also whats with the messed up logic. Song wasn't bad.
"That song is from Mirrors Edge therefore it can NOT be in tf2. Also you suck."
Just saying people are being kinda harsh.
Make something that goes well with the fun TF2 theme. You know, focus more on humor like the Meet the Team videos, while still paying attention to the artistic part.
There are enough Call of Duty videos of people shooting other people and randomly walking/jumping/suiciding.

Im not going for humorous.

Take a look at Meet the Spy, it does focus on humor and on the whole 'a-lethal-enemy-is-inside-our-base' shit, which is pretty dark. I'm saying that you can still make something that is artistic but focuses on the TF2-ish humor at the same time.
Honestly, it would be far better than pyros jumping off cliffs while unfitting music is playing.
