So, after I stopped playing for a few years or so (I stopped around mid-2010) I'm back, and I'm creating more mods. I made some well known TF2 mods like FortWars, The Hidden, Arena DeathMatch, etc. (sorry, I deleted my youtube account since then, I don't have any videos of them). Since my creative mind isn't working right now I'm looking forward for new ideas for game modes (you can post them here, I'll read all replies). I prefer the ones that completely change the game objective or add an interesting twist (like FortWars). A friend of mine suggested to stream some coding (some people like to see words being typed and magic appearing, not sure why), so I'll also be streaming coding sessions in this link: [url]http://www.twitch.tv/m280[/url] So, basically the purpose of this thread is to get some new ideas for mods (since I'm out of them) and advertising my stream :)
You could try to recreate the original TF2, which was like an RTS I think.

One thing I'm thinking about is when (and if) Valve releases a MvM mode, I'll probably modify it to make something like Monday Night Combat, but we'll see if there'll be a way to set a robot's alliance.
TF2 Domination, or something like you see in UT1999 or 2003/4 Domination modes.

A TF2 Adventure Mode where each team is placed in a separate long corridor and has to race to the finish, going through room after room and solving different puzzles requiring certain classes or certain things to be shot, and there will be enemies and bosses to fight. I have no idea what I'm talking about
Oh shit you are back, good times when you used to admin that FW server M28.
A tf2 deathmatch mode where everybody starts as a scout with 200 health and a pistol and bat and can pick up all kinds of weapons that are scattered through the level. Since tf2 has a shitload of them only the basic ones rockeauncher-shotgun-minigun-nade launcher-sticky launcher-flame thrower-sniper rifle-needlegun. Then there are also items like ammo, health kits, overheal kits( can increase your health to 450), regen health, ubercharge and kritz. So a quake clone.
I miss the fortwars "classes", like the batman scout...
