What do you think then? I myself am for them. However, they do need their own subforum or megathread (not sure how well the latter would work though).

Free items to be honest, not gonna complain. They're hardly worthy of a subforum though.

You get one hat raffle for free, dozens more appear
Then someone has the idea to make people pay one scrap metal, everyone does the same
And you get one hat raffle for a drawing, then you get others for drawings & avatars

Actually, now that the poll has been added, I think there should be 1 stickied megathread that shows the winners of previous raffels, but the main focus is on the new one. That way, there aren't thousands of threads on it.
I like them, but I do think they need their own subforum.

I think you mean "item related stuff" else where would TF2 Media go?

Well the chance of winning one it's rare but If you can try you can win a hat. I always want to participate in one so I think they need a megathread or a subforum because there are too many.

I'm getting piss tired of them, because iRunner was the first to do it and then everybody and their mothers did it. It's clogging up the forum.

yeah that's what I meant
I actually went and counted all of the hats, trading, raffles, item rarity, etc threads on the main page of the forum.

That's [B]75%[/B] of the threads in the TF2 section are about non-gameplay related stuff (stuff like the tf2 media and the screenshots thread aren't included in the 30)
If that isn't a reason for them to have their own subforum I don't know what is. Don't pull the "oh the update just shipped there's bound to be loads of threads" card - it's been almost 3 weeks now.
Do you know what would be cool?
A raffle that the winner would have x posts

They're great but need a sub-forum.
I hate the ones where you have to put in scrap just so the OP can make more hats.
Although it kind of makes sense otherwise how would the OP continue to make raffles unless someone donated? not everyone is a kind soul :(
I like dzonint's raffles. They are fast, easy to spot, and have multiple items per day, along with bonuses.
Raffles need subform badly, so they're all in one place.
