• How to make a map compatible with pyrovision?

i havent figured out how to make a custom map that allows you to see the pyroland textures, i tried decompiling maps like doomsday, nothing found in entities, nothing found in map properties, using same textures does not work either T_T someone help!
You might have a better chance asking on tf2maps.
I'm probably way wrong, but I recollect that a few maps had some new files added not long before the update, I believe they were .ain files--perhaps they had something to do with it? It isn't much of a lead, but it's better than nothing I suppose.
Someone posted a way before, let me get it up. Alright, so go to your cfg folder and place this in a config called "mtp.cfg" . Thought it was just a matter of using the textures/sprites that Pyrovision replaces...

tried to include the cfg in the bsp , didnt work :/ also, it is safe to change the server's mtp.cfg? or will that corrupt the whole server and say that the server has version mismatch?
You can't include the config file with the bsp. It doesn't work that way. There is practically no chance of server crashing repercussions by modifying said config. Worst case, nobody has pyroland on any map.

Just added the map to the .cfg. Unfortunately I don't get that yellow border thingy. Also the console command I used to get these pics was [B]tf_spectate_pyrovision <0/1>[/B]

If I edit it so that there's no maps in the list, pyrovision won't be enabled for any maps right? It's cool and all, but my eyes are starting to hurt from it. [editline]29th June 2012[/editline] Also, where exactly is this file?
