• TF2 Startup error on new monitor

Tried to start tf2 on this 1080p monitor and I'm getting this "No Signal" error. I think it has to do with my current video settings. Isn't there some advanced command that resets your video settings? Does this have to do with the 1080p thing? -All help appreciated [editline]12th May 2011[/editline] does anyone have any insight on this? I haven't been able to play tf2 since Christmas and I just got a new computer and this is the only thing keeping me back
Try to put -autoconfig in Launch Options. See if that helps.
I have the same Problem whit my screen, but my screen is an old one and it only happens in tf2 (other source games are fine). Weird thing is that yesterday, i didn't have any problems whit the game. :pwn: and the -autoconfig didnt help
Perhaps you have resolution settings set to high? Try setting it to a low windowed resolution to see if that fixes it -h 800 -l 800 Try that in launch settings if autoconfig doesn't help

Something similar was happening to me with a monitor I was using earlier this morning, launching the game in windowed mode and setting the resolution to the native from there fixed it right up.
