apparently a 3gb update - Games

i don't know whether this is a legit 3GB update or not, but it's definitely not re-downloading TF2, which is near enough 5GB. not too sure what could actually be in 3GB of update though so it could just be me. there is also no update news which makes me wonder if i'm an idiot or not [img_thumb]http://i46.tinypic.com/2zoasrl.png[/img_thumb]

I've seen people having problems with the steam download thing. Some people get that it's 5 mb, other people get 1 gig. I think it's broken, so it doesn't tell you how big the download really is.

From what I've seen (I personally don't check it, because I've only seen people having problems with it on their end) it's borked to hell.

Check the GCF by date, to check wich one changed, and then, just search for new files.

it's been updated now, i'll check the GCF files [editline]02:51PM[/editline] well i think it's re-downloaded team fortress 2 content.gcf for whatever reason. looks like no update

That's not only the engi update...it's somethink more...

Yeah mine didn't even update

SDK is also updating so it probably is my Steam glitched.

Most of my GCFs say that today they were modified. So I think you are getting some glitch for an update.

Have you all forgotten that every major class pack update has about a week-long day-by-day teaser reveal on the blog? Before anything gets added to the actual game, we'll hear about it way in advance on the blog. Always check the blog before asking questions about an update.

Mine was downloading a 7 Gig update the other day when it should have been downloading the 28th of May update. Probably just a bug.

Just restart steam.
