for all you fake-updaters out there: - Games

A question: if you made models for an existing class's fake update and got positive feedback, why not submit them to valve? really?

Maybe they have?

Valve mentioned in the recent interview with Kritzkast that they enjoy reading these pages, and the really really good ideas are sometimes implemented.

I liked the Mini-crit dispenser on that one guys page. And the Laser sentry because...well, ITS A LASER SENTRY! I didn't like the Laser sentries overall design though. I heard that Valve is going to have two different building sets for Engie, one unlocked in his update made by Valve themselves, and another set made out of the best fan made engineer buildings. That would be awesome if Engie got new stuff right after his update.

There was a fairly good fake pyro reupdate posted on here a while ago. Team-coloured axes, man.

Some of these fake-updaters don't model the actual items they just use photoshop I thought that was obvious.

Mailmen too.[/QUOTE] id love to see the guard dog as a class as well personally. you would need 2 balence it with 2 other classes as well. im thinking they should make a 4th class range for Balanced classes, mabye good for new players but not to overpowered, gaurd dog would be the one in that class range. at least, thast teh only way i could see it working.
