I'm getting tf2 for christmas this year ( a little early I know, but still) and am wondering what class I should play as once I get it. Some things to keep in mind are I'm a moderate fps player Its the 360 version of the game (so don't take unlockables into account) The only shooters I play frequently are Call of Duty and Left 4 Dead and I have played the game only once before. Which class do you think I would be best as?
Pyro.
Pierow Wait, you're getting it on the xbox 360? Fucking stop, get it on the PC you n00b.

Soldier and get the PC version. You should get computer upgrades for Christmas instead.
Pyro or soldier. Really.
My pc is too big of a piece of shit to run it.
My fucking laptop made like six years ago can play TF2, hell, a computer built in 2000 can play TF2. [editline]10:57PM[/editline] No one plays TF2 on the Xbox anymore, you'd be wasting your money.
I really don't know fuck all what kind of graphics card or whatever my pc has. I'm just assuming it can't handle tf2 because the last game I tried didn't work (spore). Also inb4 comment marked as dumb.
Soldier, point and click.
Turn the settings down and you'll be fine, man. Just never get a Valve game for a console... never again...
You shouldn't even be getting it if it's on the XBox. Buy a new PC if you have to.
Spy is really easy if you're just learning your way around the game. All you have to do is get behind people and you get to kill them instantly. Sounds easy enough right?
Soldier. First class I played as, pretty easy.
All classes are easy now. Scout and Spy wouldve been the ones for the unexperienced to avoid, but thanks to FAN/Sandman and Deadringer it is no longer the case.
Soldier. First class I played as, pretty easy.
I think my first was heavy I was all like HAHA I HAVE WAY MORE HEALTH THAN ANYONE then I just ran at random ubercharged people with my minigun and attacked them, while my brother was like "uhh you know you can't kill them right" I also remember getting hopelessly lost on 2fort, nearly capturing the intel and then meeting a pyro I thought I'd escaped at the top of the stairs, at the time I thought he must be a master strategist but turns out anyone can do that :D
Demoman, so easy I had never played it and I used the sticky launcher to kill people, just spam them everywhere and explode. People just like to whine about pyros. Also Tf2 on the 360 is accually really fun. Don't listen to them. I have it on both.
Whatever class has Gabes Banhammer
Buy a PC. NAO. If you get TF2, play medic. heal, hide, n' run. that's all there is to it.
Sniper, possibly. Was my first class.
I would say pyro, once you get the flare gun you will piss everyone off. I usually play as spy, I suck with every other class.
I would say pyro, once you get the flare gun you will piss everyone off. I usually play as spy, I suck with every other class.
he's getting it for the 360 so there is no flare gun
You can get good at any class, just like my friend did. He was a shitty Spy, now hes a dime-a-dozen back-stabbing scum-bag, like me! :3: They grow up so fast.
Sniper. Just point and click. Or you could play as a Heavy.

Also as a Brawl taunt matcher, I'll probably end up playing as a spycrab a lot.
Heavy
Classes for noobs? Pyro and scout.
Xbox tf2 = FAIL.! PC tf2 = EPIC LULZ pyro btw just press w+m1
All of the classes are easy to get into
Soldier, point and click.
Or demoman if you want to get around the "point" part.
I love the people suggesting classes are 'point and click' as if there was a class that didn't involve pointing and clicking.
