At the risk of sounding like a broken record: How come there isn't any skins for the Horseless Headless Horsemann's Headtaker?? Don't get me wrong...I have the axe (LV 99 lolwut) and it is a beast...but it sucks eggs compared to the purple glow version that the HHH carries Wouldn't it be nice to carry the Axe the way it was meant to be carried? It's probably just a bug, I'm sure they'll apply the effect later on.
Early in the update, there were two different axes being those two. The unusual one was the purple axe if I remember correctly. Still, it would be great if it was the purple version.

If the axe is in possession of some one other than a ghost it goes back to its normal form, but still haunted on the inside. My theory

I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually meant to have an effect when used by a player. After all it's 'Unusual'
I think the glow's most likely done via shader settings, probably the rim lighting functionality. So I'd check the VMTs instead, they probably differ.

I could copy the vtf of the HHH's verison but I can't find it. Scanned the whole cache.

It'll always look wrong. Just copy/paste the HHH's axe VMT and replace the Demoman's Ax VMT. Done.
Idk if it matters at this point...but the vmt that the bigger axe uses is models/weapons/c_items/pumpkin_axe.vmt but is there a difference with the original???

Make a copy of that file and rename that file to c_headtaker and replace the old one. I haven't tested it, but I can't see where it'll go wrong.
